Ponza. The NLG (Navigazione Libera del Golfo) will make extraordinary connections with Terracina in view of the long weekend of June 29, a public holiday for Rome that celebrates its patron saints, Peter and Paul.
To facilitate the many tourists who will spend the second summer weekend in Ponza, the NLG has decided to carry out extraordinary races.
Therefore, on Friday 27 June, the Sorrento Jet, the NLG fast ship that reaches Ponza in 70 minutes, in addition to the scheduled departure at 8:40 from Terracina, will make an additional one at 11:15. From Ponza, on the other hand, in addition to the usual 6:30 pm, there will be the extraordinary one at 10:00.
On Monday 29 June, however, the Sorrento Jet will depart as on weekends at 8:40 from Terracina and will return from the island at 18:30.
From Thursday 1 July then, the service will be daily, always respecting the same times. The total cost of the trip is 47.5 euros (round trip) and also includes the landing fee.
Please note that the Family Plan is active on this route which provides free admission (landing tax excluded) for a maximum of 2 children aged between 2 and 12 accompanied by at least 2 adults.
It is advisable to purchase tickets online also due to the reduced capacity of the ship in order to comply with the safety distances made necessary after the health emergency.
When purchasing the ticket, a guide is also provided on the correct behavior to be kept on board to avoid the risk of contagion due to Covid 19.
Among the precautions contained in the guide there is the recommendation not to board the ships if you have flu symptoms, to respect the social distancing of at least one meter, to sit exclusively in the assigned seats etc.
We also remind you that it is mandatory to wear a mask before boarding, while the use of rubber gloves is also strongly recommended.
